Advice and support
The Federation provides advice and support to its members and to others interested in developing studios. General advice is available to all members, and Studio members may receive one-to-one advice.
Advice
Over the coming year we aim to develop a network of advisers who will be able to provide professional advice on areas such as: organisational formation, business and financial management, legal issues, property matters, capital development, and legal and compliance work.
NFASP offers an advice service to members and others with an intrest in developing studios. We aim to answer general enquiries ourselves, or refer you to others with knowledge of studios issues. We will match your enquiry or request for support with the best advice we have available through the expertise of our trustees and others with experience of working within studio organisations. This advice covers lease and property issues, studios management, artist selection procedures, organisational development, running community and outreach programmes, rural studio issues and other relevant topics.
Over the coming year we aim to extend our network of advisers to include professional expertise on areas such as: organisational formation, lease and property matters and legal and compliance work.
If you are an NFASP member please submit your enquiry via this page: NFASP member advice enquiry.
If you are not an NFASP member please submit your enquiry via this page: Query form
Support
We support studio groups and organisations in specific circumstances, for example, where they are facing difficulties in their negotiations with landlords or property developers. NFASP may be able to send a representative to strategic meetings, where possible, or provide briefings or letters of support, where endorsement by a national body would be considered helpful.
Disclaimer
