About NFASP membership
Our role is to represent and support all those engaged in developing and managing affordable studios for visual artists and studio groups and organisations form our core membership.
As we know that many others have an interest in this area, we also offer Individual and Network membership, enabling others to join who wish to have access to our resources and services.
Who is membership for?
Not-for-profit groups and organisations in the UK providing studios and workspace for visual artists, including shared production facilities such as print or sculpture workshops.
Artists' groups aiming to set up collective studios.
Individuals with an interest in developing studios – artists, consultants and others working in the arts
Organisations and agencies including local authorities, regeneration bodies, housing associations and private developers, with an interest in developing artists' workspace.
What do we provide for members?
Advice and support on setting up and running studio spaces, through a mix of specialist advice, information and resources, and tailored workshops.
Opportunities for networking and sharing experience among studio groups and providers at conferences and events throughout the UK.
Campaigning on behalf of the sector to raise awareness and represent studio providers at Government level, and acting as a catalyst to create innovative ways of developing affordable studio space.
